This was one of our small group service project – redecorating a room for a local women’s shelter. We provided new bedding, freshly painted walls and decoration and alot of TLC. Most of the women coming to this shelter usually aren’t here for very long, so we wanted an opportunity to be Jesus to them — even if it was just a cozy room with uplifting decoration they could call their own while they seek direction for their life. It was most rewarding for all of us even though we will never meet even one of the many women who will utilize this room.

Great going, guys! Maybe next time I won’t be SICK! The overhaul looks great and I know the ladies there really love it!
