If you missed Sunday’s Small Group Lunch, here is what you missed:
Small Group Coordinator Jon Frazier talked with group leaders and we all got to hear great Love Dare Stories
Small Group Coordinator Brad Bynum giving us the
Focus Five: 5 Things Every Group leader Should Do.
1. Connect People
2. Grow Small Groups both spiritually and numerically.
3. Develop multiplying leaders
4. Train member for Glocal service
5. Live out Discipleship, Community and Service in every Small Group.

Every Small Group has these three objectives: DCS
Discipleship:

a. Help people worship corporately and privately.
b. Have Bible study at least twice a month & pray for lost.
c. Develop future leaders

 

Community:

a. grow in friendship to increase accountability.
b. Increase belonging by sharing the load of Small Group
c. Party monthly with an i2i party once a quarter

Service:

a. via LifePoint Church ministries
b. to the community individually or as a group.
c. to the world through LifePoint Global mission efforts

Development Director Teresa Eldred & Service Director Krystal Brown were introduced and each shared a little about their roles responsibilities and upcoming opportunities for GroupLife.

GroupLife Ministry Assistant Charity Smith & Small Group Coordinator Jenny Sanders handed out some great Summertime Party themed door prizes to some lucky groups to use during the upcoming summer months.
